Just Perfect

He’s perfect

No flaws

No imperfections

No faults

He’s perfect

I’m often reminded about just how lucky I am

What did I do to deserve him?

Am I worthy?

He’s perfect

His gentle ways

His work ethic

His loving actions

He’s perfect

My mother-in-law’s son

  1. Your writing was perfect! I totally thought you were describing your husband and or that he hijacked your computer! So funny at the end. It is so nice of her to remind you how lucky you are!

    1. 😉 Isn’t that so kind of her?!?!? She is a wonderful woman, but enough is enough sometimes. What am I…chopped liver? 🙂 Thank you for all you kind and genuine comments through the Challenge, Tracy. I LOVED reading your slices. You have such a natural gift for being able to say so much in so few words. Quite talented you are! I hope to see you on Tuesdays!

  2. Get out of here! This is perfect. You had me and that end. “my mother-in-law’s son” Come on! That’s just so great! It’s a great combo of how you really view him and how he must be viewed from his mother. Like they overlap and it’s a good thing. This is sweet and smart at the same time. Love it.
