On this 17th Day of March,

good ol’ Saint Patrick’s Day,

I am reminded of my Italian heritage.

“Italian silly?” you say, “It’s the celebration of the Irish!”

Well yes, I know, but my dad told me never to admit I was Irish.

Actually, I always heard that St. Patrick was Italian. He traveled to Ireland from Italy to rid the country of the snakes. I am wearing green today. I am also looking forward to wearing red this Wednesday for St. Joseph’s Day!

  2. Hahahaha, that’s the truth! Love the flag. This is like one of those comedic bits you catch on tv sometimes. Love it. I’m like 20 different things but I’m like novelty as a redhead today.

  3. Love this. For me, it’s the other parent. My dad was the Irish/German mix and my mother was Italian. Funny how many times I heard people talking about their heritage today. Great conversation about how different yet the same we all are.

  4. German and Irish with a little something else mixed in over here. The German so overrides the Irish in my house. 🙂 good thing both have the same beverages of choice more often than not. 🙂 love this!
